A Dahlonega, GA artist and author, she is known for her acrylic paintings of landscapes, farm scenes, and farm animals. Her donated painting was inspired by one of her many visits to St. Simons, a favorite place of hers. Phyllis is the author of “Windhill Farms”, a book based on her own family in the 1940s when they purchased an old farmhouse in Pennsylvania. It relates the trials and tribulations encountered while fixing it up during war time.
